    Vitaliy,

I am a colleague of Ben Thomas’ and he has just loaned me your book.

I just read John Mauldin’s latest report that contains “Living in Paradise, The 20-Year Horizon, & If I Had a Hammer (that contains a lot of your research.

    Thanks for all you do.

Chris, thank you. Any friend of Ben’s is a friend of mine! Please say hi to him.

Just finished your book. I’d say the comments on Amazon are not accurate. Your book was a holistic perspective on investing, well rounded and more in depth on evaluating value stocks than I have found. I’d like to see a handbook on analyzing stocks, the math from start to finish, more of a workbook that goes through the entire process. My question is about range-bound markets. How how to value a retail company with good earnings but the stock is moving down, such as Sketchers (SKX) for instance. Zacks rates a sell, avoid, and says it will remain range bound. Is it worth buying on the way down for the long term or is your book suggesting playing on the uptrend?

I agree with Corey that a handbook on analyzing stocks would be very useful. I don’t spend all my time on financial analysis but it is not a hobby either and a handbook to accompany your book would provide the assistance I need and consider to be important so please think about it. I believe that your book “Active Value Investing” is giving me a valuable learning experience. (I’m about half way through the book.)
